overview :

“The Voice on NDDC” radio program is an initiative of Social Development Integrated Centre (Social Action) with support from MacArthur Foundation. Social Action is currently implementing a project on "Strengthen Civic and Community Actions Against Corruption In The Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC". The objective of the project is to eliminate corruption in the operations and system of the NDDC and position it for effective service delivery in plugging environmental, human, and structural development deficit in the Niger Delta towards the attainment of the country’s sustainable development goals. The “The Voice on NDDC” radio program is conceived in the frame of the on-going efforts to tackle public corruption in the operation and administration of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) and bring about probity and accountability in the system. A key element in achieving this overreaching objective is to connect with citizens and citizens’ group and use the media to generate needed heat and actions around flagged corruption issues in the Commission and other relevant government institution.
