As Nigeria grapples with huge debt burden amidst dwindling revenue and inflation, the fiscal challenges before the economic handler are daunting. A recurrent factor in the nation’s economic crisis is the lack of fiscal responsibility by MDAs. Earlier this week, the Ministry of Agriculture reportedly spent 18.9 billion to clear bush, an allegation the Ministry swiftly denied but admitted it only spent 2.5 billion.
