Following the emergence of the Executive Director of the Center for Fiscal Transparency and integrity Watch (CeFTIW), Umar Yakubu as the sub-Saharan African representative at the United Nations Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC) Coalition Board recently, the Honorable Justice Mohammed Sadisu Abubakar, the Honorable Kadi, Sharia Court of Appeal of Appeal, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja has harped on integrity and character as major ingredients for nation growth and successes. Justice Abubakar while extoling the Center’s fight against corruption and contributions to the promotion of good governance, said that competence, integrity and character are essential overlapping virtues which all Nigerians must imbibe. The Honorable Khadi enjoined young people especially to be hardworking, stressing that hardwork must be combined with competence, character and integrity for growth and career success. He described the Center as a good ambassador of transparency and accountability, and called on other stakeholders to support causes that would entrench best practices in the nation’s public service. These submissions were made when Mr. Yakubu paid a visit to the Honorable Khadi, who is a former colleague at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). #FiscalTransparency #Anti-corruption #Integrity
